Working as a community speech pathologist with a paediatric and adult caseload. Treating and assessing clients face to face and online, working with a range of presentations including: cerebral palsy, dementia, dysphagia, autism, ADHD, stroke, stuttering, global developmental delay, transgender, selective mutism, language delay, social skills development, severe speech delay and communication differences. Working with the client’s family and their multidisciplinary care team to complete assessment and provide client centred interventions.

Felicity initially commenced as a Claims Counsel role, supporting the General Counsel and having day to day conduct of all claims. During this time Felicity was also involved in the underwriting of policies.In October 2015 Felicity was appointed to a newly created Legal Counsel - Product Development role which involves development of new products and innovations and enhancements to current processes and products. Recently, Felicity has successfully on-boarded a major Bank to use our products. This included being the main contact point, contract drafting and negotiation, process improvement discussions and documentation, internal liaison with a number of different stakeholders to accommodate the needs of the client and the business and assisting with the training and system upgrades. Felicity is also involved in policy wording redrafting as well as a product development and enhancement, including rewriting processes and guides, as well as on-board a number of other clients.

Management of a busy professional indemnity practice acting on behalf of the large professional indemnity insurers for professional indemnity claims against Lawyers, Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Brokers and financial corporations.

Management of a busy insurance practice focused on medical negligence claims acting on behalf of the Department of Health, Area Health Services and Visiting Medical Officers. I maintained watching briefs over HCCC inquires and coronal inquests.

Returning from an overseas holiday I managed a busy public liability practice.

Returning to wok from a period of illness I assisted with a variety of insurance claims including workers compensation, public liability matters as a well as assistance with the preparation of tenders and monitoring compliance with tender requirements.

I traveled overseas and undertook a number of local government and regulatory roles in the United Kingdom.

Post admission I commenced working as a solicitor. Areas of law included public liability, property damage and workers compensation. I was involved in and managed small claims to catastrophic injuries including brain damage, burns, severe disabilities, common assaults and sexual assault cases. Clients included large general insurers, Government departments, educational institutions, charities and religious denominations, some of which were self-insured. I had direct contact with the insurers, insured parties and service providers.
