As Clinic Manager, I lead a team of three Clinic Coordinators. I’m responsible for intake of new clients, scheduling across eight locations, billing, and spearheading all administrative tasks. I work collaboratively with the Clinic Director to respond to client feedback. In my time with Well Beings, we have expanded significantly, opening seven new locations and hiring 20 new counsellors.

As Clinic Coordinator, I matched new clients with suitable counsellors in both Ontario and B.C. for virtual and in-person counselling. Additionally, I facilitated scheduling, responded to emails, and managed billing for all clients.

I was thrilled to join the team at Manifest Wellness for my first role in the mental health field. Manifest Wellness offers a hybrid between coaching and counselling designed specifically for men. As Client Coordinator, I was the first point of contact with new clients and the final touch on all clinic schedules. I also managed accounts receivable and accounts payable. Lastly, I brought my marketing background to the team, writing blogs and managing the newsletter.

In my role as Marketing Manager at GLOBE Series, I had the opportunity to put my passion for the environment into action. My responsibilities included marketing strategy, content production, brand management, and overseeing digital advertising and web development. I appreciated the opportunity to use my skills to support GLOBE's mission of achieving a sustainable, prosperous and socially just future in a generation.

Argo is a cryptocurrency cloud mining service that aims to serve as an educational on ramp to the blockchain world. As Communications and Marketing Manager, I worked to achieve these goals through strategic planning, multimedia content, influencer outreach and event planning. The resources I developed helped Argo grow as a brand, provided a value add for its users and ultimately, created an accessible path to crypto for people that aren't currently included in the space.

Minister Kirsty Duncan selected me to pioneer a new role in her office — Digital and Social Media Lead, recognizing the importance of a digital brand in modern politics. My focus in this position was on increasing the use of multimedia in Minister Duncan's communications through strategic planning. To achieve this goal, I became Minister Duncan's personal photographer and videographer and took a leadership role in issues management. In my seven months in the office, Minister Duncan’s Facebook page gained 3,000 likes, her Twitter account gained over 4,400 followers and her Instagram page gained 2,000 followers (it effectively doubled). I propelled our digital campaigns on key events including the release of Minister Duncan's TED Talk and the release of the 2018 federal budget, which included the largest investment in science in Canadian history.

Canada C3 was a signature project for Canada's 150th Anniversary of Confederation. The centrepiece was an epic 150-day sailing journey from Toronto to Victoria via the Northwest Passage. As part of the Communications Team, I developed the website content, managed the newsletter and reached out to media. On board the Canada C3 ship, I worked as a social media producer, filling the Canada C3 Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat profiles with photos, video, 360 photos and live video. Through an emphasis on regular multimedia content, we grew our Facebook page from just over 1,000 likes to over 40,000, reaching millions over the course of the expedition.

As part of this position, I became the managing editor of SAC's award-winning blog, Communiqué, and the staff liaison for the awards and recognition program. I contributed to strategic communications planning and evaluation. I wrote content for the SAC website, social media (LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter), e-communications and publications. Lastly, I continued to manage two newsletters (Student Speak and This Week in the News), review translations (English to French) and to manage SAC's advertising portfolio.

As Communications Assistant, I managed three newsletters (SAC in Action, Student Speak and This Week in the News), I maintained the website and I managed SAC’s advertising portfolio. I also frequently reviewed translations (English to French) and wrote short translations myself. I wrote content for SAC’s social media accounts (LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter). Finally, I wrote and edited copy as needed.

I worked with small groups of students in two French public schools to improve their English speaking skills and to share Anglophone culture.

I produced audio and written content for Farm Radio Weekly and the organization’s blog. I learned basic Swahili in two weeks to prepare for this job. I worked alongside a local radio station in Mtwara, Tanzania to organize trips to farming villages. These trips were designed to see the effect of Farm Radio programming.

As Communications Assistant, I created Watson’s Mill’s first strategic communications plan, led social media content creation and wrote a column for the Manotick Messenger. I used the column to investigate the history of the town, including a piece on the origin of the word 'Manotick' featuring new research I conducted alone. In the four months I was at this position, the Twitter account gained 100 followers, the Facebook page was seen by 3,000 people and I started the museum’s first Pinterest page. As Heritage Guide, I also gave tours of the museum in English, French and German.

As Communications Coordinator, I translated, wrote, edited copy and organized events for a variety of Quanglo’s clients. I administrated the 2011 Canadian Farm Writers’ Awards which were announced at an international conference. I wrote stories for the Ontario Farmer. I researched an agricultural risk management literature review, which was published by Farm Management Canada. I also worked with LEAD International, a leadership in sustainable development program, to organize an international conference.
