We believe that connection to land, food and community can drive real, meaningful social change, and strive to empower agency and advocacy by offering an inclusive space for growing, cooking, knowledge sharing, and ongoing community collaboration. We run hands-on workshops and education programs, and provide training and employment pathways for those facing disadvantage in the community through our Staying Grounded Program, which directly supports our food relief efforts in the Geelong region.

Currently, most homes and families rely on unsafe and expensive energy sources like kerosene gas The fellowship program involves young professionals from around the world with interests in sustainable planning, development and social business models. Our role is to work with local Indian businessmen/entrepreneurs in slum communities to develop business models and programs that enable them to successfully install clean energy technology in family homes through loans and payment plans. This switch to clean technologies has the opportunity to totally change the way families live their daily lives.
