Developing the global UHY brand. Leading on external marketing communications strategy and implementation.

As the RSM UK Social Media and Online Digital Channels lead, I played a key role in the formulation and execution of comprehensive connection strategies across social media platforms, such as LinkedIn and Instagram, podcasts, YouTube and other online digital channels, catering to both client and employee engagement. Along with overseeing the workflow of a team of four, utilising Adobe Workfront for project management, I collaborated with the marketing team on diverse projects of varying complexity to align solutions with strategic marketing communications goals. As part of this role, I worked with a social media agency to build the employee advocacy support programme from LinkedIn training and PDF guides to intranet articles. I established best practices for effective digital-first communication in close coordination with the design team. Some of my key contributions include:~ Developing key brand and communications initiatives, focusing on the social strategy and planning for employer brand, CSR, diversity and inclusion, wellbeing, economic and AI thought leadership on LinkedIn.~ Strengthened relationships and workflows with our social media agency and key internal stakeholders.~ Led the implementation of a new social media content management, analytics, social listening and employee advocacy platform- Oktopost to streamline processes.

Effective marketing and social media training and outsource support solutions to a diverse client and company base, with a focus on the leisure, not-for-profit, education, B2B and entertainment sectors.Additionally I engaged in short to mid-term marketing contract roles for various organisations including Informa Tech, University of West London and University of London. ~ Led on marketing projects for a variety of clients/ larger organisations; including Masquerade Theatre Arts, Kerr & Co Estate Agents, CollecTin, Havering Council and SA Dance. ~ Granted Facebook "Power Admin" status from Meta (Facebook), earning an all expenses paid invitation to Facebook Gather 2019 conference in Dublin, alongside 500 European business community managers.

After having my second child I purchased the franchise of a local nanny and domestic staff agency which I ran alongside some freelance marketing work from home. The role including marketing the agency, sourcing nannies for West London families, including some high profile and high net worth individuals.

Working in the busy marketing department for Rockwool and leading the operational marketing team. Role included managing three direct reports in total, leading on promotional campaigns with key clients, social media, launching a new website and a rebrand and leading on the strategy and implementation for high profile events.Along with orchestrating sustainability promotional campaigns and the design of an innovative and captivated company stand at the Ecobuild exhibition, focusing on sustainability in building. I also tracked stand attendance and successfully generated 350+ new sales leads, resulting in a notable 15% revenue increase from the sustainability business unit within a one year timeframe.Some of my most significant achievements during this tenure:~ Led successful relaunch of UK and Ireland corporate website.~ Organised the pitches for and onboarded new marketing agencies and a new fulfilment centre for distributing Rockwool promotional products and samples.~ Supported and mentored marketing personnel to navigate busy and challenging business periods. ~ Authored and produced compelling marketing content for large-scale company projects and corporate events and hospitality, including 2012 Olympics, sustainability campaigns and fire protection awareness. ~ Participated in collaborative sustainability and innovation marketing and communications projects with internal and external partners at Rockwool Headquarters in Denmark and offices across Europe.

Major portfolios I focused on included Estates Gazette and EGI (commercial property), mostly on conferences & events and online products and ICIS (global chemicals portfolio) - advertising promotion, both online and offline products. Set up first social media profiles.

The company I worked for was called Numerica which was sold to Vantis shortly after I left and after a series of other acquisitions got absorbed into RSM UK. My key responsibilities included online marketing, copy writing, website development, microsites, corporate event planning and promotion, seminars, PR, CRM and sponsorship programmes. Worked mainly with the charity, media/ entertainment and sports businesses.

CRM, sales pipeline, website editing, internal communications eg staff newsletter and intranet pages, brochure and flyer editing and production, organising events, corporate hospitality and conferences.
