Economic and Political Development Capstone Project.Partnership between Columbia University and Fundación Bavaria-Colombia. Evaluation of Colombia’s government poverty reduction project ZOLIP. Project analyzed in two ways:• Statistical quantitative study comparing data from 143 families from government’s system to assess project efficiency relative to other groups and follow up on the efficiency of the project in moving and keeping people out of extreme poverty. Extensive use of Excel and Stata for data analysis.• Qualitative impact analysis of ZOLIP program at Tocancipa through in loco interviews and expert opinions.

Conflict Resolution Internship Partnership between Columbia University and UNDP-Peru.• Assess the impact of dialog as a conflict resolution tool in the Andean Region. Field work in 5 different regions of Peru (Lima, Ancash, Cuzco, Apurimacc and Arequipa) for data collection to produce an analytical paper report to UNDP-Peru and Columbia University.

Based on City Strategic Plans for 2009-12 and 2012-16, project resulted in more than R$ 100 million in annual rewards for at least four years. • Responsible for online system inspection, along with over 15 different bureaus’s meritocratic goal agreements linked to strategic planning. • Provided technical and quantitative support as part of initiative to hold public officials in high performance.
