Overall responsibility for maintaining computerized accounts receivable systems; review all input, manager data integrity controls, coordination of processes with Headquarters team, review and analyze output reports.Responsible for maintaining timely billings and collections of accounts receivables. Manage the reconciliation and control of cash accounts. Also, manage and complete month end reconciliation to the general ledger and reporting. Monitor key business controls each month and ensure they are executed in accordance with company policy. Overall responsibility for the preparation of the balance sheet reconciliations each month in accordance with policy. Review Profit & Loss (P&L) and analyze trends to ensure accuracy for month close. Communicate irregularities with Senior Accounting team. Present financial schedules reports and reconciliations to support owner and financial audits. Record adjusting entries and closing entries as needed. Assist in the preparation of P&L Variance Report and also in completing the annual budgets.Understand and manage the department's budget to include labor & other expenses and its impact on the bottom line. Review monthly financial statements and implements plan of actions around any deficiencies.Manage each property's accounts payable system according to company policy and procedures. Maintain departmental checkbooks and ensure expenses incurred but not invoiced or paid with in the current accounting period are properly accrued. Processing of fixed asset purchases for approved projects.Meets all financial close deadlines; pulls and analyzes pre-close reports each day to validate overall business results.
