Project title: "Microbial characterization in hospital environment using MinION sequencing platform."In this project I developed and automated the methodology to process sequencing data from the MinION sequencer in order to perform taxonomic analysis. The results this project can be viewed in the attached scientific article.

Project title: "Identification of antimicrobial resistance genes in metagenomic database."In this project I worked with the challenge of to identify antimicrobial resistance genes in metagenomic databases through a methodology based on Deep Learning. Samples from 7 Brazilian states were mapped, and with this work, we could visualize the impact of human activities and the distribution of new antibiotic resistance genes. The methodology of this project will be reused for an analysis carried out at the Hospital das Clínicas of Ribeirão Preto, whose article can be found in the attachments.
