This reduced the rework and scrap levels;● To cost reduction and increase competitiveness one of the requirements of the new managers was the reduction of the weight of the raw material of the products. I also developed parameterized blocks, in AutoCAD software, for the elaboration of drawings and volume calculations of forging projects.● Created a dynamic Excel spreadsheet that reduced the time and error of "Bills of Materials" and "Routing" entries in the SAP system.● Developed a spreadsheet where the data available in the forging process was collected to detect the main problems of the line, later this was used as basis for helping in the solution of problems with process standardization in the steel mill.● Due to a demand from the PPC in making production lead time forecasts, I created an Excel spreadsheet in which the capacity of each machine could be visualized. Subsequently, another similar spreadsheet was requested to meet the needs of the controllership and commercial sectors in the elaboration of budgets and forecasts. -

I also used in the elaboration of these projects software that helped me in the steps, e.g. Simufact Forging, Dform 3D and QForm 3D● Controlled, issued and filed designs, processes and other documents of the section for the manufacture of the products● Prepared technical proposals and budgets, requiring a prior project on raw material (allowance calculation) and analysis of all documentation and standards sent by the customerAchievements: ● Standardized the design of the raw material sheet for technical proposals by creating an AutoCAD template that contained a dynamic block in which instead of drawing the entire product it was only necessary to enter the main dimensions and more than half of the drawing would be done. This reduced drafting time by 15 min.● The calculations of raw materials were made in the calculator, as they were repetitive, I put all in an Excel spreadsheet reducing errors, both due to lack of standards and typo. This also helped reduce spreadsheet preparation time.● Several times I helped my colleagues with problems using software e.g. AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Microsoft Office, SAP, among others. Even when I didn't know, I researched, found the answer and added to my knowledge. -
