As a Fullstack Developer for the SMID project (Pipeline Integrity Monitoring System), I designed and developed a comprehensive solution for Chilean mining, focused on ensuring pipeline integrity. This system enables data collection, processing, and visualization through an API built with ASP.NET Core, alongside web tools in Blazor and mobile applications using Blazor MAUI. I implemented relational databases using PostgreSQL with PostGIS and Timescale to manage historical and geospatial data. Additionally, I worked on containerization with Docker to optimize deployment and implementation. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary, English-speaking team was key to achieving the project objectives.

As a computer engineer, I had the privilege of completing an internship as a VR applications developer at LIITEC, a laboratory focused on research and technological innovation for science education. During this period, I focused on developing a virtual reality application designed to facilitate understanding of meiosis, a fundamental process in cellular biology.The virtual reality application I developed allowed users to immerse themselves in a virtual environment where they could interactively visualize each stage of meiosis. Using Unity as the main platform, I integrated three-dimensional models, animations, and interactive elements to create an immersive and educational experience.My contribution to this project was not limited to the technical development of the application; it also involved collaboration with biology experts to ensure the accuracy and relevance of the educational content. Additionally, I worked closely with the design team to ensure an intuitive and user-friendly interface.This experience not only allowed me to apply my skills in software development and programming in Unity but also provided me with the opportunity to contribute to scientific education through technological innovation. I am proud to have been part of this project and to have contributed to the creation of a tool that helps students and teachers better understand complex concepts in cellular biology.
