Felipe is a Research Fellow at the National University of Singapore (NUS) - in Prof. Pang Sze Dai's group - working closely with building authorities and stakeholders to improve the safety and reliability of the construction industry in preparedness for upcoming climate changes.He completed his Ph.D. at Monash University in July 2021 under the supervision of Prof. Wenhui Duan and Dr. Ezzatollah Shamsaei, where he carried out groundbreaking research in nanoscience, nanoengineering, and new chemistry applied to cement/concrete.His research/professional expertise includes a range of topics from concrete technology and environmentally friendly cement binders to advanced characterization/inspection methods and machine learning.
