Felipe studied Civil Engineering and holds a Post-Bachelor Specialization in Regulatory Law, a Master's degree in Production Engineering, and a PhD in Electricity Regulation and Market Designs. His PhD took place at FEUP (Faculty of Engineering of University of Porto), FSR (Florence School of Regulation at the EUI - European University Institute) and MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology). Felipe taught in universities and since 2007 he works as specialist in regulation at the Brazilian Electricity Regulator (ANEEL). At ANEEL he has worked at the Superintendence of Enforcement of Generation Services (SFG), where served as the coordinator of the engineer's team responsible for the inspection of the operating power plants. Since 2015, he works at the Superintendence of Regulation of Generation Services (SRG), already having been in charge of normative resolutions related to short-term electricity price and its ceiling price, demand response program, ISO (Independent System Operator) performance indicator, failure of fuel supply of thermopower plants, remote monitoring of hydroelectric plants and sectoral charges calculation, as well as some tariff, network and commercialization procedures. In July 2019, he assumed the role of Deputy Superintendent of the Superintendence of Regulation of Generation Services (SRG).
