The project entitled "Synthesis and functionalization os mesoporous silica with polyether chains and silver thiolate as strategy for drug release of kanamicyn" was developed in the Brazilian Synchroton Light Laboratory (LNLS), also requiring tests in the Brazilian Biosciences National Laboratory (LNBio) and Brazilian Nanotechnology National Laboratory (LNNano).Activities related with the project: • Synthesis and functionalization of nanoparticles;• Characterization through Fourier-Transform Infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS), zeta potential and specific surface area (BET theory);• Microbiological tests involving the preparation of growth medium, serial dilutions, incubation and colony counting in different methods: using the ImageJ software, by optical density (OD) measurements and manual counts of colony-forming units (CFU).
