Graduated in Computer Technician from Centro Sinodal de Ensino Médio Dorothea Schäfke. Graduated in Computer Science from the Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos - UNISINOS, 2017. Masters in Applied Computing (2019) and Ph.D. student in Applied Computing in the area of Artificial Intelligence by the Graduate Program in Applied Computing of the Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos - UNISINOS. Since the beginning of the second semester of 2014 until the end of the second semester of 2015, the student participated in the Brazil Scientific Mobility Program, the call number 156 to the United States of America. The first semester was focused on the study and improvement of English as a second language at Michigan State University, where the student won the outstanding performance award as the best student in the class. During the first and second semester of 2015, the student attended eight classes at the University of Missouri, which were added to your transcript in your current university. Between the first and the second semester of 2015, the student participated as a junior researcher at the University of Pittsburgh, advised by Dr. Peter Brusilovsky, working on an educational learning environment project. Before traveling, the student was a junior researcher at Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos, advised by Dr. Patricia A. Jaques Maillard, in the PAT2Math Project, that is an Intelligent Tutoring System to help students learning math. Participated as junior research, with a scholarship of scientific initiation, in this project from 2011 to 2014, where he has developed his undergraduate thesis, which won the 3º best undergraduate thesis award in the Brazillian Congress of Computing in Education, 2017. Also in the PAT2Math project, he developed a students' emotion detector tool, which uses the personality of the students to enhance the accuracy of the detectors, which won the 1º best master's dissertation award in the Brazillian Congress of Computing in Education, 2019. The student has experience in programming with an emphasis on Java, web development, SQL, R, Ruby, acting mainly on topics of artificial intelligence, affective computing, machine learning, and data mining.
