-Designed, built, and automized from scratch reports to monitor transportation performance, billing, and search for cost savings opportunities, for Inbound and Outbound transportation departments, extracting data from AS400, carriers' websites to automize and analyze it in Power BI and Excel Power Query.-Establish Data Governance for the transportation department to build accurate and usable data models in Power BI.-Analyzed parcel carrier data to identify cost savings on freight or Miscellaneous costs. I discovered nearly $200k in savings on a FedEx lane from the US to Canada.-Train coworkers on understanding Power Query M language and effectively use PowerBI.

-Designed, built and automize reports to monitor transportation performance, billing, and search for cost savings opportunities, for the Managed Expedites area.-Worked on cost savings analysis for three customers by understanding their expedite loads requests trend to be able to as-sign multiple loads to a single carrier with a fixed rate reaching 33k USD of savings in the first 2 months of implementation and projecting this to be 200k USD in a year.-Presentation of the expedite loads metrics and its analysis to the customers transportation directors every month and quar-ter.-Built billing report to identify the pending or unresolved invoices and started to execute plans to speed up billing backlog.-Productivity report construction in Power BI for several accounts inside the organization.

-Developed logistics studies to define financial impact to Navistar transportation network related to supplier resourcing decisions with-in North America and overseas locations, gathering data from SAP, supply chain (transportation, packaging, freight pay) databases, and teaming up with Freight Operations and Trade Compliance lines of business to ensure all costs and risk represented in outcome analysis, to uphold over 4 million USD in year over year transportation savings.-Maintained and updated Microsoft Access databases connected to Power BI to run daily reports for procurement and freight operations direction to identify opportunities for contracted carrier lanes coverage and cost savings for the Navistar transportation network.-Led transportation implementation process of switching Navistar fasteners network within North American and global suppliers, gathering requirements, analyzing data, recommending, and developing transportation-oriented process improvements, solution de-signs and cost-savings opportunities for over 70 thousand USD, ultimately trained personnel in charge of further operation under SOP deadline.-Results subsequently presented to and discussed with appropriate Navistar and XPO stakeholders using proper storytelling.

-Scheduled, coordinated, and monitored drivers and equipment to ensure daily transportation operations run safely, efficiently and under Just in Time delivery parameters between Navistar Mexico suppliers and the Navistar Plants.-Analyzed shipment routes using OTM (Oracle Transportation Management) to consolidate multiple loads in a single shipment and decrease transportation cost, finding and contributing to more than 70,000 USD costs savings; and implement shipments border crossing reduction times.-Active liaison between Navistar Mexico suppliers, Carriers based out of USA & Mexico and border customs brokers.-Created measures, processes, controls, and automatizing Excel spreadsheets that helps to improve coworker’s performance.
