I am a tech entrepreneur and startup advocate throughout Latin America. Over the past 25 years, my initiatives have enabled more than 10,000 startups, attracting over R$1 billion in investments. As a serial entrepreneur since the age of 16, I've had a hand in various aspects of the entrepreneurial ecosystem, from being a founder and venture capitalist to serving as a public speaker, educator, accelerator, and writer.In 2000, I founded Girando, the first Latin American mobile application. Two years later, I co-founded Instituto Inovação, an accelerator that also provided consulting services for technology transfer, corporate education, and venture capital investments. This venture later evolved into the Inventta consultancy and Inseed Investimentos, now part of KPTL.A significant milestone in my career was co-founding Startup Farm, the first Latin American startup accelerator. This initiative played a crucial role in shaping the startup ecosystem in Brazil and beyond. I also had the privilege of directing Start-Up Brasil, the country's first public program to support digital startups, which gained international recognition.Currently, I'm deeply involved with Inteli, a Brazilian university that teaches technology and entrepreneurship through project-based learning. In addition to my educational endeavors, I serve as the Vice-President of the Brazilian Startups Association (ABStartups). I'm also a columnist for Estadão newspaper, an angel investor, and an advisor to various companies and initiatives in Brazil and abroad.Throughout my career, I've managed numerous tech-related projects encompassing large corporations, startups, and governments. My experience spans business and technical domains, allowing me to bridge gaps and foster innovation across different sectors.I'm passionate about sharing knowledge and have authored the book "10 Thousand Startups," which encapsulates many of the lessons I've learned throughout my journey. As an LGBTQIA+ person, I'm also committed to promoting diversity and inclusion in the tech and startup world, recognizing its crucial role in driving innovation and creating more equitable ecosystems.I continue to be driven by the potential of technology and entrepreneurship to create positive change.
