As part of the Medical Genomics Research team, I architected, implemented and maintained a suite of web apps and software solutions for a team of clinical geneticists to assist in the understanding and interpretation of the human genome. As one of three engineers that made up Neustar's Decision Navigator platform, I played an integral part of development since the beginning of the product. During my time on the team, I led daily meetings as Scrum Master and helped in the planning of sprint retrospectives. Engineering responsibilities included:- The implementation of an internal load balancer on a self-hosted server architecture- Supporting a solution that processes hundreds of thousands of real-time queries on a daily basis- MVC architecture for client/server solutions- Layered Multi Tier application architecture for separation of concernsThis role helped me to develop a strong knowledge of the .NET stack, and gave me hands-on experience with every aspect of architecture and development, including SQL databases, web frameworks such as AngularJs, and Real-Time load balancing.I also learned to work competently with a team of people with different skills and personalities. I was the sole proprietor of an online Vinyl Decal business where I made custom orders for customers who could customize from items in a catalog.I was responsible for every aspect of the business, from the design and development of the website to order fulfillment and shipping

As an Intern at Shoelace Wireless I helped design and implement the UI for the Android App "VideoBee". This was mostly work in JAVA, developing for the Android platform.
