Having fun with RubyOnRails and GraphQL.

In the last year, I worked focused on the frontend side, building the next UX of the Zephyr Scale product by migrating the codebase from AngularJS to ReactJS. For the rewrite, we are using TypeScript.Previously, I worked full-stack with Java, delivering features cross-platform (on-premise + cloud) and automating the product's CI infrastructure to make the team more productive.

As an engineer at Adaptavist, I work focused on one of the company's most successful products, Test Management for JIRA (TM4J), the best rated QA & Test Management add-on in the Atlassian ecosystem.I've implemented among many other cool features, the new report engine, which had some interesting challenges, like providing the same functionality across different areas of Jira and Confluence, while keeping it compatible with the different host platforms, allowing people to see their test automation results in the place that suits them most.I've played a lead role on the kick-off migration of the product frontend from legacy libraries and frameworks like AngularJS and Gulp to more modern tools like React and Wepback.I've worked in the architecture and development of the product's test automation integration with Jenkins and Junit, allowing test automation results to be published into TM4J seamlessly via Jenkins and other CI platforms.I also play the team lead role, providing guidance to the team on the day to day activities.

As part of this great team, my responsibilities include the analysis and development of features for the company products.Being a startup that is creating solutions for enterprise-grade clients, we need to be very effective and customer-centered.

Responsible for leading the team on product development, and at the same time working as a full-stack software engineer.This allowed me to work all across the product development, from the concept to the delivery in production.As a small team with thousands of customers, we have had to invest in high-quality practices like a great automated test suite, code reviews, pair programming, and design patterns.During this time, I've worked with RubyOnRails, JavaScript, Backbone, React, Redux, Chef, Terraform, and many other tools.

My first experience as an entrepreneur. I worked with my partners on many things from coding to product development. We eventually stopped working on the product, but we were very happy with the overall experience.Rocoh was a social platform to help stock market traders to find the best investments for their money and to protect their assets.The project was built on top of Ruby on Rails, MongoDB, RSpec, and Chef.

At OnCast I have had one of the most rich professional experiences of my career.Working with a very skilled and innovative team I could learn the things that built my crafts as a Software Engineer and Team Leader.During these two years, I've worked on at least 5 different projects, using Java, C#, Ruby and Javascript and I've assimilated some great agile methodologies and concepts, as TDD, pair programming, and code review.I'm very proud to have been part of this team.

At Senac I have had a great experience teaching software development. When you teach, you must study a lot to be able to help students to really learn and to achieve their goals.Teach also, requires some interesting different skills, as talking in public, and understand how people feels, look at their difficulties and help them to overcome it.

My first full-time professional experience as a Software Engineer after university.I've had the opportunity to work at a great company established at the enterprise market, and understand how it works in practice.At Softplan I've worked with Java, JavaScript, Hibernate, Firebird, JBoss, and EJB.

I've started my career as a system and network administrator still during my time at the university.It was a great experience where I could learn automation skills, and apply them in a real world scenario, at a considerable big university, which gave me a good foundation in the system operations field.Some of the tools I've used: Linux and Windows Servers, Samba, FTP, Postfix and Iptables.

During my time at the university I could participate in scientific research projects, which helped me to be a better student, and most of all a fast learner.The projects that I have participated are related to the field of Distributed and Parallel Computing.
