R&D Engineer with solid background in physics, fluid & structural mechanics, wave dynamics, structural dynamics, wind energy and offshore engineering. I have proven experience in CFD modeling of multiphase (Lagrangian and DEM methods), thermodynamic, hydrodynamic and aerodynamic flows with Star-CCM+ and OpenFOAM.Simulation driven design and optimization of parametric flow-exposed products i.e. Ship Hulls with Star-CCM+, OpenFOAM and CAESES platform.Developed a new type of tip load propellers i.e. Kappel propeller that increases propeller efficiency (1-2%), reduces weight (10+%), noise (10+%) and removes the risk of erosion of FPP/CPP associated to traditional Kappel Propellers.I have competences for creating and analyzing dynamic models with scientifically programmed algorithms and commercial software.
