I have taken the time to do extensive research in different areas of philosophy and African-American studies to the point of creating my own study with my own personal findings of data. Within my time studying my minor in general business, I focused on management within a business as well to then be able to curate my own business from scratch with a team where we saw successful results and the consequences of management decisions. I was also part of the Globe program at VCU, that enabled me to be in the presence of copious amounts of international students and their cultures to the point of living with global students at different times of my college career. This program ensured that I find a way to make them feel comfortable and welcoming as well as learning about the impact of globalization. My time was also invested in helping in volunteering projects on and off campus ranging from an on-campus soup kitchen to a remote position at a high school where I became a resource for students in minority communities that wanted to go to college and strive for scholarships. These activities helped me find my majors in order to help various communities in the future and strive for a global outlook on the world to continue to be a global citizen. While being a full-time student, I had made professional experiences in other aspects such as being an Executive Assistant, Call Center Agent, and others. These experiences have also helped me grow out of my shell and learn what it is to be a leader and strive for creating a long-lasting connection between the company and the customer.
