As a retired Maintenance Manager, at the U.S. Postal Service, I have worked with HR specialist resolving labor issues, participated in mediations, training of new hires, supervisors, and regular employees. As a manager I planned and over seen projects to enhance the performance of postal equipment and machinery, and cleaned up the appearance of the facility. Working with labor unions and employees on conflict resolution.I am now enrolled in Colorado Technical University perusing my Bachelors degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Human Resource Management. I am also a member of SHRM, (Student Human Resource Administration). An organization for students pursuing a career in Human Resources. Although I am retired, I would like to maybe return to the work force after Graduation to work in my career field.
