Improved cycle time of monthly parts testing due to inconsistencies in the data collector application. Performed troubleshooting and researched the instability of the application. Identified root causes, created wireframes and visual mock ups, tested new functionality, and implemented changes using C Sharp (C#) to process and application, including multithreading logic to support data collection from multiple cameras simultaneously. Developed a data structure to capture and uniformly display camera data. Wrote documentation on new application functionality to be included in the user manual. Conducted external research on experimental technologies used in feeding parts to manufacturing assembly lines. Documented technical information, benefits and challenges, and how competitor companies utilized the technology. Performed fit-gap analysis on open-source solutions for asset tracking and identified potential customizations.
