Created and published a training curriculum in 2016; training is currently available to Southern Company employees system-wide.

• Developed formal training program for Fleet Operations and Trading to comply with NERC Standard PER-005-2.• Created online NERC compliance training and technical training modules for Fleet Operations and for the Southern Company Generation Plants. Delivered training via webinars and onsite at Southern Company Generation Plants.• Served as subject matter expert and compliance trainer for all Southern Company Generation Plants and Fleet Operations by leading NERC Compliance process improvements for NERC Generator Owner/Generator Operator (GO/GOP) functions.• Selected as 1 of 14 moderators for the Southern Company-wide "So Safe" safety competition. Collected innovative ideas from employees across Alabama Power, Georgia Power, Gulf Power, and Mississippi Power Companies. Implementation of the innovative ideas resulted in a safer work environment.• Mentored and provided interview coaching for 25 Southern Company employees and non-employees.

• Optimized coal inventory and storage levels by managing coal transportation and logistics processes (e.g., railcar procurement.)• Issued Requests for Proposals (RFPs); negotiated contract details with railcar providers resulting in the procurement of the best products and pricing.• Created an enhanced railcar contract to provide an end-of-lease option which placed a ceiling on railcar prices and ensured railcar availability at the end of the lease term.
