As a Software Engineer at Waymo, I apply my expertise in machine learning and deep neural networks to improve the route and ride-hailing quality for autonomous driving. I have led and executed a new end-to-end ML solution that involved 15+ engineers across 5+ teams and enhanced the user experience. I have also redesigned two ML models for generalizability and performance, and developed a ML model analysis tooling that increased the efficiency of 20+ engineers.Before joining Waymo, I completed my PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology, where I developed innovative algorithms and frameworks for optimal resource allocation, operator mapping, and operator scheduling in ML accelerators. I also contributed to three open-sourced DNN design space exploration tools that have received hundreds of citations and stars. My research interests include ML, RL, LLM, Transformer, GA, and performance modeling. I am motivated by solving challenging and impactful problems that leverage the power of ML and AI.
