Co-founded MedTrax LLC, which is a Chicago-based DJ collective that aims to plan events and mixers for medical and graduate students across the city. We started with Northwestern events of about 200 people in August 2022 and have since grown to host 400+ people and even performed at the Northwestern law school's Barrister's ball. We continuously work with venues across the city to expand our connections and also network with incoming students at all various schools to continue selling out our events. We strive to connect students across the graduate community and have over 2000 people on our current listserv. We have performed for the New Life Volunteering Society fundraising gala to contribute to creating free clinics in Chicago for those uninsured. We also create a platform for student artists to perform, and our artists have gone on to pursue large opportunities. One of our DJs was featured at Chicago's North Coast festival, another DJ was an opener at Marquee nightclub in New York City, and our emcee got hired by a Dubai artist to perform for his show in front of 30,000 people.

Working on my AOSC project, which is developing a human engineered heart tissue model to study patient-specific mutations in LMNA. I am conducting an epigenetic analysis using ATAC-Seq and Hi-C analysis to better understand a patient's mechanism of disease (who presented with cardiac laminopathy) to ultimately develop targeted therapies.

Led a small study group for 2 hrs/week throughout my 2nd and 3rd year of undergrad to help organic chemistry students with challenging concepts and present them practice problems to work through. I was a senior facilitator my third year, so I got to lead the weekly hour long prep meetings to guide other facilitators throughout the year and communicated with the leader of ASLA as well as the professor. I was a source of support for the students and fellow facilitators since I got to connect with them throughout the course of the year and be a mentor in disciplines outside of organic chemistry. Served as co-president of Tufaan Entertainment my senior year of college. This nonprofit plans one of the largest Indian dance competitions that is held on Northwestern’s campus and raises money to help poor children in India get a proper education through Shanti Bhavan Children’s Project. 2022 was a special year for Tufaan because it was our first year bringing the event back after the pandemic, so it took a village of us to plan the competition we had never attended ourselves in the past.During my second year, I was board member for the registration position. I was the primary communicator with team captains, enforced Tufaan policies, and helped with organizing and communicated ideas and plans to the Tufaan staff members. This year, we had a virtual showcase.During my first year, I served as a committee member in Sponsorship and Finance to help raise money for Shanti Bhavan. Tufaan was unfortunately canceled this year because it was planned for March 2020 when the pandemic began.

Served on executive board for Northwestern SASA, which raises awareness about South Asian culture through several events during the school year; worked to raise $4000 for SASA show using Catalyzer through samosa sales, reaching out to family and friends, and campaign videos and emails
