I have been working as an advisor @ GIZ, the German federal agency in the field of international cooperation for sustainable development. Enthusiastic about social and collaborative innovation efforts, I led the GIZ Innovation Fund. The GIZ Innovation Fund is a yearly companywide innovation challenge where all our 22k+ colleagues and their external partners are invited to submit and develop ideas addressing the Sustainable Development Goals. One of my last endeavours was to explore the topic of startup-public sector collaboration and to put together a methodological framework/toolkit for supporting such processes (please see link).

Project coordination in the frame of the BMZ financed research project "Reduction of Post Harvest Losses and Value Addition in East-African Food Value Chains (RELOAD)" in Nakuru County, Kenya (www.reload-globe.net).

Department "Global Partnerships & Emerging Economies: Portfolio Development"Monitoring processes, data collection and analysis, and guidance of country bureaus within sector and market analyses for innovative portfolio development within GIZ.Support of the secretary of a global think tank network (www.economic-policy-forum.org) including online representation and stakeholder management.Independent customer acquisition including the design of GIZ portfolio leaflets in close cooperation with GIZ (methods) departments and preparation of first customer relations with international foundations .

Department "Energy & Environment"Support of market analyses to identify business potentials for the chamber in the newly established department. Tasks included site visits, interviews, and data collection at local businesses, desk research and writing of study chapters, database construction, and acquisition and management of business partners.

Department "Municipal Infrastructure"Support of the department in financial development cooperation with partners in South-Europe and Turkey. Tasks included the support of project research and appraisal, creation of presentations for BMZ, and data management in close cooperation with the foreign bureaus in the project areas.
