Managing over $100M HKD projects for converting manual operated cranes to remote operated and automated cranes, while minimizing disruption to one of the worlds busies port. I am also responsible for writing the automation portion of technical specification for new crane purchases ranging from $10M to $800M HKD projects. Leading my staff of 12 engineers in resolving technical issues, scheduling, and contractual discussion with contractors are part of my daily routine. As part of the middle management group, I also report project progress and create proposals for upper management to consider. I report directly to the AGM, GM and Director of Engineering.I left HIT on May 29th, with 13 of 29 remote operated cranes converted and ~50% of the yard operated with these 13 cranes.
