• Prepare vehicles for testing including: vehicle safety checks, setup instrumentation, reprogramming with appropriate software, etc.• Conduct vehicle performance testing with a variety of data acquisition systems, following established procedures and criteria• Subjectively evaluate Acceleration and Drivability performance of vehicles, both in closed course and public road settings• Analyze and compile vehicle data, prepare reports of summarized results• Perform general technical tasks such as vehicle maintenance and repairs, troubleshooting, wiring harness modifications, etc.

Prepare test vehicles for testing by vehicle engineering staff, including instrumentation, parts change, fabrication and setting vehicle to required specificationsSet up various mechanical and electrical tests and tests equipment under minimal supervision, including interpretation of mechanical and electrical schematicsPerform diagnosis and repairs on test and durability vehiclesMaintains a safe and clean work environmentConduct diagnosis and repair on the following: suspension systems, engine systems, brake system, transmission and clutch systems, steering systems, HVAC systems, tires and wheelsImplement engineering design changes under daily direction of leadengineersThis includes interpretation of drawings, preparation of supplies, and fabrication and installation of non-standard partsAssist in design process and fabrication of prototype materials used on various testsOperate mechanical and electrical test equipment for collection of engineering data as directedEquipment includes pressure, temperature, acceleration, and other analog data acquisition devicesProcess test data and communicate resultsSet up various mechanical and electrical test equipment under minimal supervision, including interpretation of mechanical, electrical and schematic drawings, fabrication of various test fixturesPrepare vehicles for testing and shipment. Including completion of check sheets for data collection, safety inspection, tools and spare partsParticipate in testing activities as an evaluator, driver and technicianPrepare test equipment and tools under directionAssist engineering staff with evaluation in failure analysis process as requiredEvaluate vehicle performance under different test conditions (e.g. hot, cold, high altitude)Perform field repair work and part changes as directed during testing

Dis-assembly of production, pre-production and prototype vehicles (Body In White, Half Cavity, Full Cavity)coordinate with customer's as to extent of testing with regards to STA'sInventories and organizes all vehicles to come off of EOT for Body in white, Half Cavity, or Full cavity as per customer's request.Complete all assignments in a timely and efficient mannerPrepare all Disassembled vehicles for corrosion evaluation per customer's request coordinate training of new or transferring employeesupdate and maintain testing and dissasembly procedures to current levelsMaintain and ensures a clean, safe and friendly work area
