As the Program Manager at the Lee Brenneisen Foundation (d/b/a Innov8 Africa), I’ve been at the forefront of efforts to improve access to quality education, enhance livelihoods, and reduce poverty. My work focuses on Innov8 Africa’s eight thematic areas aligned with the UNs Sustainable Development Goals: Clean Water and Health, Digital Literacy, Reforestation, Solar and Renewable Energy, Livestock Banking, Poultry Keeping, Food Security, and Beekeeping. My role has given me the privilege of working with marginalized communities in the Arid and Semi-Arid regions of Kenya, gaining valuable experience in community mobilization, project planning, monitoring and evaluation, and fostering partnerships with local authorities to ensure sustainable impact.I’ve overseen a variety of transformative projects, including the installation of women-led social enterprises, built and equiped computer centers to advance digital literacy, dairy farming units, kitchen gardens, and water pan construction for sustainable agriculture in schools enhancing school feeding programs. Each initiative is rooted in empowering communities to take ownership and ensure long-term sustainability.In addition to my work with Innov8 Africa, I served as the Volunteer Service Project Director for the Rotary Club of Enkare Narok (District 9212). Here, I led initiatives aligned with Rotary International’s mission, including peace-building through community dialogues, WASH programs in rural Narok, literacy campaigns, and environmental protection through tree planting and river clean-up activities. I believe that small, meaningful actions can create lasting change, a philosophy I live by through my Rotary involvement.Previously, I worked as the Community Outreach Officer for 3rd WORLD TECH CBO, where I continue to serve on the Board, supporting livelihood enhancement programs. With my understanding of the need for digital literacy, I have supported building of three computer laboratories, to support the children in the pastoral community.Community development and service are at the core of everything I do, and I am passionate about making a positive, lasting impact on others' lives.
