About Felix Sosa
I’m a computational cognitive scientist and AI engineer. I want to understand how children learn about the world and how we can build machines that learn and develop more like children. My current work focuses on methods for learning generative models of domains in the form of programs.I’m a PhD student in the Psychology Dept at Harvard and the Center for Brains, Minds, and Machines at MIT as a Harvard Prize Fellow. My work is at the intersection of cognitive science and program synthesis.I'm advised by Tomer Ullman, Sam Gershman, and Josh Tenenbaum. My previous work largely focused on building systems that could learn without supervision and computational models of human cognition. This included developing a novel class of evolutionary algorithms, search processes for program induction, and modeling higher-level cognitive behaviors such as moral judgment and social learning.www.mit.edu/~fsosawww.cbmm.mit.edu/about/people/sosa
Listed skills include Public Speaking, Research, Machine Learning, Python, and 39 others.
