Dallas/Ft. Worth Area

Link America is a technology integration and services company since 1994. I lead the CCS division that provides Engineering Design, Installation and Maintenance of communications systems applied to Public Safety, Mass Transportation, Education and Enterprise customers.We are currently developing a private CBRS network for a major School District to provide broadband connectivity within students households. Working with our partners we can design, deploy, operate and maintain these networks.Additionally, our CCS team can design, deploy and maintain all communications systems used on train stations, such as CCTV, electronic signs, Public Address, telephones, SCADA, power distribution. We have deployed over $5M of 2-way radio systems for NTTA, Dallas College PD, DART, DISD preferred radio supplier at $750K, DFW Airport P25 Radio system at $1M. We currently provide 24 x 7 maintenance to Dallas College, and DFW Airport systems.We also deployed the communications systems for all 9 stations at Trinity Metro Tex-Rail, Positive Train Control at over $3M.We also provide IoT applications, such as Asset/People tracking utilizing GPS, RFID and Bluetooth Low Energy technologies. Hardware-as-a-Service (HaaS) that provides financing, engineering configuration and managed services for enterprise networks (CradlePoint, Ribbon, Digi).Based on our Social Responsibility core value, we have been working with local and State government agencies to develop a Public-Private Partnership (P3) to solve the "Digital Divide" issue affecting our communities.

Dallas/Ft. Worth Area

Responsible for the Operations Management of the Warehouse Management Solutions division of Link America, working with major Telecommunications OEM's (Ciena and Fujitsu) and a Tier 1 Carrier (AT&T). The operations included full implementation of EDI, ERP and VMI systems. Annual sales during this period were between $132M and $175M.

Lazo started as a Contract Manufacturing company for Alcatel and evolved into a service enterprise dedicated to the design and installation of telecommunications infrastructure and network electronics for school districts, hospitals and public transportation agencies. I was responsible for the development of the ISO/TL9000 Quality System and certification, Engineering, Manufacturing processes, facilities and resources, Project Management, Procurement and Customer Service that resulted in $70 million revenue in the first year of operations.
