Fèlix is currently acting as an independent consultant in Project Management and M&A activities and he is working as CFO at Biointaxis, a biotech startup company. He has been involved in venture capital for 15 years, having acted in two venture capital funds as leader investing in innovative early stage companies. He has been a member of the Board of Directors of companies in sectors such as biotech, earth observation and telecommunications. He is regularly invited to participate as an evaluator in startup selection processes for investment forums all over Europe and in education centres as occasional lecturer on venture capital matters. He has worked with entrepreneurs offering them support, advice and guidance, having been himself an entrepreneur, founding 5 companies. He has held positions of responsibility in technical, commercial and strategic planning areas at Telefónica, PESA, Interactive Television and Menta. As director of the Barcelona Bidding Dossier for the 1992 Olympic Games, he actively participated bringing the Games to his hometown, Barcelona. He has also worked as a consultant in companies such as Bédaux (Industrial Engineering), Arthur Andersen (Management Information Consulting Division) and Facts & Figures (Project Management). He has lectured on IT topics at ESADE and, as an independent expert, he has evaluated projects for the European program Esprit and he is acting as an independent expert for the current Horizon Europe program. At different times of his career he has used Catalan, Spanish, French, English and Portuguese as working languages. He is an Industrial Engineer and a CPA.
