One of my accomplishments is being involved in the curating process of the Uniform Room here at The Hotel Emma. Being part of the opening team gave the associates open reign to design and create process to make for a successful uniformed operation. In addition to this, for the first 3 years the Uniform room was solely in charge of keeping tabs on inventory and all uniform ordering. Making sure that new associates are treated kindly and with great respect. Working in the uniform room had responsibilities that included alterations for new associate, simple mends and hems, buttons, notions, etc. Also embroidery projects would be ordered through the uniform room. We offer hand crafted embroidery for guest. Shoe shines and pressings are also available through our department.
