This role took the design of composite and metallic components from concept through to production and integration with Rodin projects. Responsibilities include concept and detailed design of race car components, composite pattern and tooling design, laminate design and composite kitting, structural analysis using Altair Hyperworks and Abaqus CAE.

Undulating fin propulsion for underwater robotic applications shows promise in its manouverability and agility. This formed the basis of the research, where numerical methods were applied to perform a scaling study on thrust production of undulating fins at different length scales.
