Leading Corsair's Gaming Keyboards and Mice product innovation and development, IP generation, program/project management:• Responsible for setting up and growing the gaming peripherals product line development team and process• NXP ARM Cortex MCU based Hardware Platforms, USB 2.0 Stack• Custom Keyboard and Mouse FW - LED control and macro playback engines, FW update/ISP, API for UI and SDK, high performance mouse functions, support for production line tests• Mechanical Engineering - ProE Creo, high precision parts, mold flow, double injection, dynamic simulations - flex/force/travel, torsion/flex• Industrial Design for keyboards and mice (advise on headsets) - responsible for concept to prototypes - innovative materials and finishes - extruded/machined aluminum, cast zinc, hydrophobic/oleophobic coating, UV protection coating, high end paints, cloth/thread, NCVM and CVM, aluminum logo plates• Gaming UI Keyboard, Mouse, Headset - UX, wireframes, feedback, coding sprints, verification, beta, final release. Performance adjustment/tuning, Lighting programming/control, Macro Programming• Product Regulatory and DQA - responsible for worldwide regulatory for all Corsair products• Device Verification - full Windows (x) verification lab, WHQL, driver signing, gaming grade testing platformsProposed, Gained Approval, Established and Scaled Corsair's Taipei R&D Center to include R&D, Sales, Sales Support, Finance, Procurement and HR; Responsible for General Management for Corsair's Taipei R&D Center with Finance Department support.Some of the Corsair products developed by the Taipei team under my leadership can be seen on the links below:
