I led a stakeholder engagement and research project on how to reconcile the achievement of energy security and climate goals in decisions on liquefied natural gas (LNG). In May 2023, we published a briefing summarizing ten theses to inform more nuanced LNG deliberations, alongside a commentary piece in ZEIT Online. Based on this, I was invited to present on LNG issues as an expert witness to committees of the German parliament in July 2023 and March 2024.
