As a Data Science Specialist in the Business Process Intelligence department, I was responsible for conducting and operationalizing complex analyses through the implementation and application of statistical modeling and machine learning. My work spanned multiple areas, including Corporate Treasury, Finance & Accounting, and Inhouse Consulting (Strategic Marketing and Portfolio Management).Key Project: Liquidity Demand Forecasting for the Treasury departmentImplemented a liquidity forecast for the Treasury department using SAP FI and SAP AFI data. This involved close collaboration with the Treasury team, including on-site work, and provided additional insights into tools like TM5, SAP FI and SAP AFI.Key responsibilities included as Data Science Specialist:- Leading and managing projects and sub-projects focused on the design and implementation of Business Analytics and Data Science use cases.- Supporting business departments in implementing Advanced Analytics and Data Science projects.- Identifying and selecting appropriate Data Science methods for Advanced Analytics initiatives.- Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure efficient project execution through effective communication and teamwork.- Developing Machine Learning models in Python.- Designing and implementing data pipelines for extraction, transformation, and provisioning in tools like Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Databricks, leveraging SQL and Apache Spark for data preparation.- Training self-service developers in the use of Data Science tools and enhancing data literacy across the organization.
