ENTSO-E, the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity, is the industry association representing the European transmission system operators (TSOs). ENTSO-E counts 40 member TSOs, representing 36 countries who are responsible for the secure and coordinated operation of Europe’s electricity system, the largest interconnected electrical grid in the world. In addition to its core, historical role in technical cooperation, ENTSO-E is also the common voice of TSOs.My job as Senior Policy Specialist consists of :*Monitoring, analysing, and reporting on EU policy and legislative developments in the fields of energy, environment, climate and industrial policy*Building up consensus through proactive engagement with ENTSO-E Members on policy priorities*Drafting of ENTSO-E’s answers to public consultations, position papers and other external communication material *Identifying strategic priorities and leading advocacy to establish and convey the voice of TSOs *Ensuring coordination with internal committees and expert groups to establish ENTSO-E position on strategic files*Producing advocacy material in support of the Secretary-General Office and of the ENTSO-E Policy and Communication Expert Group*Supporting the development of public affairs campaigns, outreach activities -including events & media relations, and stakeholder engagement*Organising and running meetings and initiatives on advocacy and communication * Supporting internal reporting to the Board and Assembly of ENTSO-E

The CERAC (Climate and Environment Risk Assessment Center) was established in 2023 and aims at ensuring a future where Belgian society is safe and resilient against climate and environmental risks. Its mission is to carry out national risk assessments in order to provide policy makers with information and recommendations to enable Belgium to adapt, avoid and reduce those risks.My job as Senior Expert consisted of : *Creation, development and establishment of a new independent Belgian federal center in charge ofconducting national climate and environmental risk assessments for the National Security Council.*Development of the strategic vision of the new center*Follow up of the legal process in view of the adoption of the Royal Decree formally setting up the center*Contact with stakeholders and other institutional partners to position the new center in the existingBelgian institutional landscape*Development of the communication strategy, branding and visual identity of the center*Development of the research framework for future climate and environmental risk assessments*Conduct literature review of existing research and risk assessments*Producing reports, briefings and analysis on the impact of climate change and energy transition on industries, infrastructures and the energy sector.*Producing reports, briefing and analysis on the social and labour dimensions of climate change and the energy transition.

Its membership is composed of 92 national trade union organisations from 39 European countries and 10 European Trade Union Federations.My job as advisor consisted of: *Follow-up of EU climate and energy policies (European Green Deal, Climate Law, Just Transition Fund, Circular Economy Action Plan, Adaptation Strategy, Renovation Wave, Fit for 55 Package, Repower EU,...).*Follow-up of industrial policies (new Industrial Strategy for Europe, CBAM, Ecosystem Transition Pathways,…) and coordination with ETUC's sectoral affiliates.*Drafting policy positions for the European trade union movement and managing the amendment process with affiliates.*Advocacy towards the European institutions.*Preparation of briefings and talking points for the elected ETUC team.*Representing ETUC in meetings with MEPs, high level Commission’s representatives and Council’s representatives as well as at public events, conferences, hearings, seminars.*Network and coalition building with NGOs and associations active on climate justice*Management and coordination of ETUC Standing Committee on Sustainable Development, Energy and Climate Change.*Sherpa Member of European Commission's Industrial Forum, representing ETUC.
