FELIX PHANG Felix has had a multifaceted career as a musician, educator, creative producer, entrepreneur and in management over 20 years. Currently in a director role at a government-linked organisation, he takes a keen interest in people development and driving progress in the local arts scene.A composer and creative, Felix values open-mindedness and is equally comfortable wearing the producer’s hat, managing diverse personalities with firm leadership. He seeks the right opportunity that would leverage his wide-ranging experience to achieve organisational goals in an arts-related role.As an Independent Artist – Music Composer and Double BassistFelix is one of Singapore's leading next-gen contemporary music composers. His works navigate tradition, culture and change, and have been presented at international platforms such as Java Jazz Festival, Sing Jazz Festival, and the International Society of Jazz Arrangers and Composers symposiums. He was part of the National Arts Council artist delegation to the Australian Performing Arts Market 2018 and, as an independent producer, attends conferences such as West Kowloon Cultural District's Producers' Network Meeting & Forum. He is a member of Asian Producers Platform (APP) and SG Producers.​In what time he can spare, Felix practises pottery and mentors young composers.
