Under the National Student Services Contract, I helped carry out experiments at the EPA Center for Computational Toxicology in Research Triangle Park. During my time here, my lab focused on research surrounding establishing human cell lines as models for dose-response toxicology, focusing on measuring genetic changes through high throughput transcriptomics and morphological changes through cell painting.

In my role as a peer advisor, I trained other peer leaders and tutors by instructing them in best tutoring practices, and served as the liason between the tutoring coordinator and other tutors.

I worked with the NCSU STEM B.U.I.L.D. group to help develop 3D printed tactile teaching tools (or TTT's) to enhance students' course understanding in genetics and microbiology courses.
