I would work as a TA for computer science classes, helping students with their assignments and grading. Outside of that I would teach students introductory programming topics and mentor them towards a good career.

Collaborated in backend development and maintenance with Rails, Puppet for CI/CD, and RSpec for test driven development. Debugged and enhanced existing Bash scripts to prevent servers from being misidentified, affecting 20% of all servers within the company, and used UNIX commands to give command access to other teams to view server information for diagnostics. Implemented new webhooks to the production codebase to allow access for the frontend team to implement new features for a customer base of 17 million people, allowing customers to have more options to secure their websites. Backfilled as the scrum master during stand up when the usual scrum master was absent and presented work to stakeholders.

Researched generative adversarial networks utilizing Python’s libraries such as TensorFlow and Pytorch, creating machine learning examples of image generation to demonstrate how the technology works. Presented results at the Great Minds in STEM 2021 Conference, winning Student Leadership Award.

During the early pandemic days, I wasn't able to work in order to maintain my family's wellbeing for a while and decided to transition careers during this period.

Performed QA tasks related to roadway designs and documentations, and helped design roadways and highway signs on projects in the Florida Keys and I-95.
