Our goal was to develop a blockchain-based trading software for energy trading that enables market participants to trade electricity in a fully automated way. In doing so, we rely on the use of smart meters and a decentralized storage network to minimize dependency on intermediaries such as EEX or energy suppliers and thus take advantage of falling electricity prices due to renewable energies. Through my work, I helped to realize our vision of an automated and intelligent solution for the fluctuating load and volatile generation of renewable energies.

As Chief Executive Officer of RömerIT, I was responsible for the successful planning, implementation and management of all business areas. Our company specialized in building and operating webshops, especially for fan merchandise of popular superhero franchises. In doing so, we particularly focused on influencer marketing via Instagram in addition to classic online advertising methods such as Google and Facebook ads. I was constantly on the lookout for innovative marketing strategies to successfully target our audience and increase our sales. We distributed our items worldwide, and in particular, we focused on selling to customers in the U.S., establishing a strong presence in that market.
