While I was attending high school, I worked as a ski coach for ten to twelve year olds. This job included planning exercises and workout programs, leading a group of up to fifteen children and giving individual feedback to all skiers. Working with children requires good people skills, and an important part of the job is making each skier feel seen and encouraged. It is also important to communicate well with the other coaches and the skiers' parents.
