 Responsible to the Chief Engineer for proper up-keep and efficient operations of all electrical equipment and machineries.  Operation and maintenance of fire alarm systems on board.  Preventive maintenance routine for all electrical & emergency equipment and carry out repairs and maintenance.  Conducting weekly try-outs for all emergency equipments and machineries.  Responsible for the computer network and Communications equipment on board.  Keep day to day record of all work carried out in connection with electrical equipment, machinery and lighting on board.  Responsible for all electrical stores, spares, working instrument and tools. Maintain an up-to-date list of inventory under my charge.
