‘Femi Balogun is a researcher and impact measurement expert with a decade experience leading the design, implementation and evaluation of youth development interventions that support job creation, workforce development, social innovation, entrepreneurship, youth education and impact investing with footprints in Nigeria, Kenya, Senegal and Ghana. His experience also includes advancing evidence for development policy making, leading thought leadership strategies, establishing policy communities, and partnership building to strengthen dialogue and uptake that supports youth transitions, city transformation and more recently Gender Lens Investing (GLI). His work was recently recognized by the global 100 under 40 list of the Most Influential People of African Descent (MIPAD), 2021 Edition in the Activism and Humanitarian category.'Femi's work supports program evaluation, development communication, knowledge production, and evidence-based policy engagement on projects/programs in collaboration with development partners including the MasterCard Foundation, Ford Foundation, INCLUDE, Citi Foundation, Hewlett Packard Foundation. His thematic area of work includes Youth Transitions, Labour Market and Skills Gap Analysis, Police Reform, Job Creation in Agriculture and Agro-processing, Social Protection, Social Innovation, New forms of Social and Political Action, Urban Governance, and Evidence for Policy Uptake. 'Femi holds a Master's degree in Security, Leadership, and Society from King's College London, a Master's degree in Public and International Affairs from the University of Lagos, and a BSc in International Relations from Covenant University.
