For over 5 years, I have pursued my interests in telecommunications research and software engineering, thereby developing a polyglot mindset, with the ability and experience to integrate research with industry output. I have also developed experience in physical to virtual machine conversion techniques, edge and cloud computing. This includes (but not limited to) QEMU virtualisation and AWS services for server, database and object storage.Currently, I develop applications to integrate with the conversion and virtualisation of physical machines on the edge. I am also investigating the security of operational technology applications written in C/C++ and Golang on x86 and ARM's secure-by-design Morello hardware. These applications are developed in within a microservice architecture in containerised environments.Prior experience includes data engineering and scientific programming, where I contributed C++ code to the JCSDA’s JEDI, by implementing the Particle Flow Filter data assimilation algorithm for weather forecasting.
