About Femi Longe

I am very passionate about helping individuals and organizations be their best self and do their best job to enable a better world. Over the last 15 years, I have expressed this why as an innovation consultant, social entrepreneur, startup coach and public speaker. I have a preference for roles that involve stimulating innovation and helping people learn.I also have extensive experience delivering business development and innovation consulting services to address critical business challenges of clients in the technology, SME and nonprofit sectors.About a decade ago, I cofounded Co-Creation Hub (CcHub) arguably the most influential organisation in driving innovation that transforms people's live in Africa. As Director for Innovation at CcHub, I was excited at the diversity of social and business challenges I could contribute to addressing taking a collaborative approach to problem solving. This as a consultant, I strive to find the intersection between the needs of my clients and the needs of the world. Thus ensuring there is no conflict and bottomline needs are taken care of in a mutually beneficial engagement.I have a keen sense of commercial awareness and believe business is perhaps the most influential tool we can use to drive social change. This belief reinforces the coaching and support I give to startups that have both strong financial and social impact built in. I have also taken a stab at creating some impact startups myself.I am both a lifelong learner and a lifelong teacher. I believe you learn best what you teach others. I have put this into practice as a trainer and facilitator over the last 19+ years. Recently, I formalised my interest in learning though a Masters in EdTech at the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Paris.Using what I learnt, I want to play a critical role in tackling the learning deficit particularly in the underdeveloped world with clarity on how it links to decent jobs and livelihood.I am very passionate about the mutual value that can be unlocked when startups partner with larger organisations. I have embarked on a deep study on how to level the playing field to enable more of these collaborations.I enjoy seeing the world and meeting new people. Do connect with me lets explore opportunities to collaborate.
