Olufemi Ogedengbe is a people-centered innovative solution provider in Agtech, IT Project Management, Business Process Improvement, Branding and Economic Empowerment space; a highly skilled networker, an innovative thinker, and a creative writer with a great passion for a better Nigeria. He worked as the IT Project Manager/ Chief Operating Officer at Farm Innovation Nigeria Limited; an AgTech company pioneering Digitized extension services in Nigeria for smallholder farmers. Currently consulting for Leadremitng on setting up of their new payment platform as an IT project manager. Femi has conducted several surveys across the Nine (9) North-Eastern states to determine the challenges faced by smallholder farmers and led a team of innovators to see how these challenges can be mitigated for these farmers and also improve their livelihood via the use of applicable technology.His knowledge base is versatile because he has worked in the political, business, and public sectors before taking up challenges in the AgTech and Fintech space. He has a background in Economics but has gone through several trainings both locally and internationally in the areas of Management, Leadership, Innovation, and development. Femi is a people-driven person that has been a volunteer at Guardians of the Nations International [GOTNI] for over 8 years and rose to become the head of community development project at the organization he also runs a personal project where shoes are given to less privileged kids living in internally displaced person camps and orphanage homes.He strongly believes that the deployment of technology in critical sectors of the economy can help in bringing us out of the economic dilemma facing Nigeria and Africa as a whole. He also believes that creativity and Innovation are very crucial; if we can get creative and innovative people in place; be it in the business or political sector, Nigeria will be unstoppable.
