My foundation as an entrepreneur is rooted in human performance. I retired from the NFL in 2010 after an 11 year career. I then jumped into the human performance space as the co-founder of a fitness facility, personal trainer and certified nutrionist. After 5 years on the floor coaching and training customers I pivoted to the healthtech space. My education in digital health began at Johns Hopkins University via an MBA program at The Carey Business School. My experience led me to collaborating with the Schools of Computer Science and Engineering where I began to learn about and study machine learning and Ai. Post my graduation from Hopkins I signed a technology partnership agreement with NASA whereby we acquired a health analytics algorithm and embedded it into a proprietary set of health assessment algorithms we developed internally at HealthReel. Since then I have developed apps, conducted IRB studies, grassroots engagement campaigns, built an engineering team and fundraised. I have also leveraged my knowledge to become a guest speaker, writer and created another company called Sports Analytics Ai. The goal of Sports Analytics Ai is to use analytics to create performance content and predictions around NFL players and game outcomes. There are a number of parallels in the way we go about assessing health outcomes and game outcomes in the NFL. ASK ME!
