About Fendi Ahmad
Presently a UK-Qualified Physiotherapist, Fendi was previously employed in a Sports Medicine and Physiotherapy Clinic as well as being a former Cardiac Rehabilitation Physiotherapist in Singapore. Fendi is also fully registered under Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Currently working as a Community Physiotherapist, Fendi had graduated from the University of Birmingham (UoB) with a Masters degree in Physiotherapy (Pre-reg) in December 2016. Prior to this, Fendi had graduated from Edith Cowan University (ECU) with a Bachelors degree in Exercise & Sports Science in February 2014. He had also been been awarded a Diploma in Sports Management & Exercise Science from Auckland University of Technology (AUT) in 2008. The knowledge gained in AUT & ECU allows Fendi to have in-depth knowledge in exercise physiology, biomechanics, anatomy, nutrition, psychology, exercise prescription and strength training. The experience gained in AUT & ECU sharpens his ability to instruct by example and conduct exercise rehab classes which is presently one of his strong points. Formerly a High Performance Sailing Coach, Fendi had previously been a member of the Singapore National Sailing Team from 2003-2008 with representation for overseas competitions such as: Byte World Championships 2007 – 1st Runner Up, Byte World Championships 2008 – 2nd Runner Up, and 1st in Byte National Rankings – Year 2007 to 2008. As a strong believer in teamwork, Fendi possess excellent communication skills in order to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with his peers and also a heightened ability to follow given oral and written instructions. Through his years of competitive sailing, hard work, determination and perseverance, he would be extremely vigilant and resilient in his future career.
