I lead a team through the creation of equity-focused, innovative workshops for K-8 educators. I believe in uplifting others and my role enables me to empower my colleagues to be conduits for the educators and students we serve. After completing my work with the Chicago Public Schools I continued to "support students by servicing teachers" as an education consultant and workshop facilitator. As a content area expert, I supported the implementation of programs and instruction for various schools and educational organizations. During this time I also worked as a Personal Development.

I began teaching 7th & 8th grade math while earning my masters as part of an alternative certification program at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Within two years I was selected to step up as a workshop facilitator for teachers in the school district, and also as a school-based math specialist.
